My sister, Moriah

My sister, Moriah, is doing an incredible thing. She's putting a hold on her college education at Berkeley to enlist in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF), where she will serve for two years as a commander of basic training. She's truly one of the most selfless, caring, and smart people I've ever met in my life, and I know anyone else who has talked to her or had the chance to meet her would say the same.

That being said, serving in the army is a huge commitment and can be daunting, especially with all the political tension present in Israel. I hope that, if you are reading this, you can reach out to my sister (ideally if you know her!) and give her some support. She's super busy and I know she's in a stressful position and it would mean a lot to my and my family if anyone who knows her would be willing to reach out to her. I know how tough it can be to go a long time without seeing family or friends, and I know it would put a huge smile on my face to have someone reach out during my service.
